Interlined curtains
Interlined curtains have an extra layer of fabric between them and the visible lining. This is to give them a luxurious feel, to keep warmth in and partly to keep light out. If keeping light out—in a bedroom, say—is particularly important, then a blackout interlining is the answer.
To hang and draw properly the pleating is crucial. Pourquoi pas' interlined curtains have full traditional goblet or pinch pleats. To further help with a proper hang, curtains are properly weighted.
Interlined Blinds
Roman blinds are a much more attractive alternative to, say, roller blinds. When the cords is pulled the curtain draws up, forming horizontal pleats that fall one behind another.
As with interlined curtains, they must be properly done. Nothing looks worse than incorrect seaming that gives a wobbly lines of pinholes that the light shines through.
A baton is needed to the blinds to hang on. Part of the local service is to fit the baton.
Cushions
Whether you would prefer button-through or box cushions, if you have favourite chairs, perhaps oddly shaped, then custom-made cushions could be the answer to comfort and beauty. All buttons, zips, piping etc. are properly covered and sewn.
